Carillon, Issue 13, November 2005

THE PLATES ARE SET
So, this happens again:
You have not tried to chase it away
-The tablecloth pulled into your palm
Sitting opposite each other
Silence still between this calm.
TRUE STORY
In Doncaster
There's a T.V. repairman
Who'll colour-disenable
Your set for you.
As part of the service
He'll hand over to you
The diode he's removed
And place a sticker
In a prominent position.
FOREIGN COUNTRY
My mother's smile
Two mountains by the sea
A kiss, a touch of fear
Through net curtains, guests foe tea.
